Overview

A swipe file for the follow-up that never ends because you keep being polite. Five lines. Two dates. Then you stop. Instant download.

Who it's for

Anyone sending a third “just circling back” this month.

You get

  • Day-2 follow-up
  • Day-5 close
  • A no-reply closer you can actually send

Two pings, then silence

Day 2 names the ask again in one sentence. Day 5 closes the loop and gives them an easy no. After that you do not write. A fourth ping trains people to wait you out.

Day 2

"Still good to [do the thing] if you want it. If the timing moved, tell me and I'll close it." That is the whole note. No recap of your value. They already have the first email.

Day 5

"Closing the loop — I'll assume it's a no unless I hear otherwise. No hard feelings." Then stop. If they come back in a month, you start a new thread, not a seventh follow-up.

When they go vague

"Happy to pick this up when [constraint] is set. Until then I'll leave it closed." Vague is not a maybe. Treat it as a no with a door.

How to use this

Pick one live lead. Send day 2 if you already asked. Put day 5 on the calendar. Do not edit for warmth.
